This Privacy Policy explains what information the TIL app ("the app," "we," "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
The app is designed to collect as little as possible. If you choose to create an account to sync across devices, we collect:
If you do not create an account, your favorites and progress are stored only on your device and are not sent to us at all.
We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or any advertising identifiers. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Your email is used solely to authenticate your account. Your favorites and progress are used solely to provide the sync feature so your data is available across your devices. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
Account data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database and authentication provider that processes this data on our behalf. Access is protected by row-level security so that each user can only access their own data.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open the Account tab and choose "Delete my account." This immediately and permanently removes your account and all of your favorites and progress from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
We keep your account data only for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the associated data is deleted.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
